Normally, when a mobile site is viewed within a desktop browser, mobile sites can look 'stretched out'. This is due to the mobile site re-sizing itself to the desktop browser's dimensions which are usually much larger than most mobile devices'. To improve how mobile sites look on desktop browsers, it's possible to constrain a mobile site's dimensions, so that it displays correctly within desktop browsers.
- Log into your mobile site
- Click on the 'Site Settings' icon
- Scroll down to the 'Constrain Site Width' field.
- Enter in a value like '600', and click 'Update' to save your changes.
Now when the mobile site is viewed on a desktop browser, the mobile site will never be displayed wider than 600px. This will prevent the "stretched out" look.
